About Foundation First Canine Training

I became a dog trainer because I believe every dog deserves to feel confident in the world around them, and every owner deserves to truly understand their dog. My approach isn't one-size-fits-all. Every dog is different, and I tailor my training to meet each dog where they are. I draw from both play-based and balanced training methods, always with the dog's wellbeing at the center of every decision. If a technique doesn't serve the dog, it doesn't have a place in our sessions. I have a special passion for high-energy dogs. The ones who find the world a little overwhelming. Those dogs light me up. With the right foundation, I've seen dogs go from nervous and reactive to genuinely confident, and there's nothing more rewarding than watching that transformation.
